Our story began with our founder, who started his career as a maintenance technician for a property management company. Driven by a passion for real estate and a desire to offer better services, he eventually obtained his construction license and began investing in single-family homes. Over time, his expertise and vision led him to scale his investments to multifamily properties, ultimately founding HK Multifamily Management.
Based in the Bay Area, California, we manage properties across multiple states, providing self-managed services to ensure the highest level of quality and care for each property. Our Story
1990
Our journey in real estate began with a strong foundation in family homes, where we gained hands-on experience in investing and long-term holds while operating under a contractor’s license. This early expertise set the stage for our future growth in property management and real estate investment.
1996
We expanded into commercial real estate by acquiring our first commercial property, which we successfully self-managed. This pivotal step allowed us to refine our management strategies and laid the groundwork for our transition into multifamily investments.
2001
Recognizing the potential in multifamily properties, we strategically expanded our portfolio, acquiring assets both in-state and out-of-state. Through hands-on management and data-driven decision-making, we built a strong reputation for maximizing property value and operational efficiency.
